Elizabeth Fogel FNP-BC

Elizabeth Fogel is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner, published author, entrepreneur, business owner, and patient advocate. She graduated from Central New Mexico Community College with her associate degree in nursing and graduated with her master’s degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Simmons University in Boston. 

Elizabeth has spent most of her nursing career at the University of New Mexico Hospital (UNMH), a level one trauma center. She has worked at UNMH as a mother/baby and Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) nurse, as well as a charge nurse in their rheumatology and pulmonary clinics. 

Elizabeth’s focus is on patient autonomy and the importance of using all available medical research in the advancement of patient care. Elizabeth is the co-founder of CannaCore, a company dedicated to cannabis focused education and individual empowerment. She is a warrior for the rights of all people to have access to cannabis medicine. Elizabeth currently lives in Albuquerque, NM with her husband, Matthew, and their animal babies.

Matthew Fogel FNP-BC

Matthew Fogel is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner, part of the Society of Cannabis Clinicians, an entrepreneur, business owner, and published author. He graduated with an associate degree in nursing from Pima Medical Institute in New Mexico and graduated from Simmons University in Boston with a master’s degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner.

He spent his nursing career on a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) specializing as an open-heart surgery recovery nurse. As a fierce medical cannabis advocate, he wrote a petition for adding patients who suffer from neurodegenerative diseases to the accepted list for medical cannabis conditions that was approved by the New Mexico Medical Cannabis Advisory Board. 

Matthew is the co-founder of CannaCore, a company dedicated to cannabis focused education and patient empowerment. Matthew’s passion is for patient education and harm reduction. He is currently practicing as a pain management & physical rehabilitation Nurse Practitioner in Albuquerque, NM where he lives with his wife, Elizabeth, and their animal babies.

Jean-Paul Dedame MD

Dr. Jean-Paul Dedame grew up in a very small coastal town in Maine. He is a member of the Aroostook and Listuguj Band of Mi’gmaq. Jean-Paul went to college and medical school at Dartmouth. His residency in Family Medicine with a focus on underserved communities was completed in Lawrence, Massachusetts where he met his beautiful wife, Tamara.

He moved to New Mexico and worked for four years in Indian Health Service as a primary care doctor before transitioning to hospital medicine in Albuquerque. He has always had a special interest in alternative medicine and is board certified as a Medical Acupuncturist. Jean-Paul began studying medicinal cannabis and was amazed at its potential for treating conditions with which traditional medicine struggles. He currently runs a symptom management clinic with the New Mexico Cancer Center, using both acupuncture and cannabis medicine to meet the needs of patients suffering from cancer. He also serves on the State of New Mexico Medical Cannabis Advisory Board.

Christopher Smith

Christopher Smith is an Operations Supervisor with eight years of experience in servant leadership and business management. Christopher specializes in Operations and Manufacturing and is responsible for directing the development and implementation of activities in the production of solar cells and CICs that are powering the space race.

He is a cannabis advocate and a powerful force in the workplace using his positive attitude and tireless energy to encourage others to work hard and succeed. Christopher graduated from the University of New Mexico with a Master’s of Business degree in 2010.
