Elizabeth Fogel is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner, published author, entrepreneur, business owner, and patient advocate. She graduated from Central New Mexico Community College with her associate degree in nursing and graduated with her master’s degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Simmons University in Boston.
Elizabeth has spent most of her nursing career at the University of New Mexico Hospital (UNMH), a level one trauma center. She has worked at UNMH as a mother/baby and Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) nurse, as well as a charge nurse in their rheumatology and pulmonary clinics.
Elizabeth’s focus is on patient autonomy and the importance of using all available medical research in the advancement of patient care. Elizabeth is the co-founder of CannaCore, a company dedicated to cannabis focused education and individual empowerment. She is a warrior for the rights of all people to have access to cannabis medicine. Elizabeth currently lives in Albuquerque, NM with her husband, Matthew, and their animal babies.
